TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY


1.0 The customer may cancel their booking via email to Bluebirdexperiences@cardiffcityfc.org.uk and receive the bookings equivalent in a credit note, providing the cancellation request is made at least 3 working days prior to the Experience commencing.


1.1 The customer may cancel their booking within 48 hours of the booking being made and receive a full refund, except when the booking is made less than 3 working days prior to the Experience commencing.


1.2 Cardiff City FC Foundation reserves the right to cancel an Experience at any time. In this instance you will be notified at least 48 hours before the Experience commences and a full refund or a credit note will be given. 


1.3 In the event of illness (inc. self-isolation) or injury where 2 or more days are missed, we will issue you with a credit note which is redeemable against any future Bluebirds Experience subject to availability. 



2. BOOKINGS


2.1 You can book any number of Experiences as long as the participant meets the age requirements.


2.2 Spaces on each Experience are subject to availability.


2.3 Cardiff City FC Foundation reserves the right to withhold bookings at any time.


2.4 The price stated is per Experience NOT per day. All bookings made must be for the entirety of the Experience.


2.5 Ad-hoc and single day(s) bookings may be available upon request. This applies to certain venues only. 


2.6 The customer must ensure that the attendee is physically fit and able to participate in the Experience activities and the customer accepts all risks that are a result of the Experience participation when booking on to the selected experience.


2.7 All bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and full payment is required with booking. 


2.8 Payments are taken in pounds sterling. We accept all major Credit or Debit cards. We do not accept Childcare vouchers.


2.9 Any mobile phones or electronic devices that are brought to the sessions are done so at the participants own risk. Cardiff City FC Foundation take no responsibility for lost, stolen or broken personal property.



3. MEDICAL/ DIETARY / OTHER REQUIREMENTS


3.1 If any child included on your Booking:

(a)      has specific dietary requirements;

(b)      is taking medication;

(c)      has allergies; and/or

(d)      has any special needs that will affect his or her participation in the sessions

it is your responsibility to inform us of this and provide all necessary details about this at the time of Booking.


3.2 Please note that our staff are not permitted to take responsibility for or to administer medicines and therefore you are responsible for ensuring any medicine is available and taken correctly prior to the Experience.


3.3 We will maintain a register of children attending each Experience. Please note that it is your responsibility to sign in at the beginning of each day of your Experience and to provide us with details of whoever will be collecting your child at the end of the day if left unattended.


3.4 In the case that the participant needs medical attention during any Experience, the customer agrees to Cardiff City FC Foundation arranging for any appropriate and necessary treatment. Cardiff City FC Foundation will endeavour to contact the customer and obtain their consent to any decision regarding the arrangement of such treatment. However, the customer acknowledges and agrees that in emergency situations Cardiff City FC Foundation may not be able to contact the customer and may proceed to arrange and consent to such treatment without the customer’s consent. In arranging or sanctioning any treatment, Cardiff City FC Foundation will take advice off suitably qualified doctors and clinicians and the customer agrees that Cardiff City FC Foundation and the associated doctors and clinicians are entitled to assume that the medical information supplied by the customer at the time of the booking is complete, accurate and up to date.


3.5 Due to the ongoing COVID-pandemic, Cardiff City FC Foundation requires that a number of documents are completed prior to the attendance at an Experience (or immediately prior) as Cardiff City FC Foundation determines in its sole discretion. Cardiff City FC Foundation will provide the documents as part of the booking process or at the venue on the date of the Experience. Cardiff City FC Foundation may refuse entry to any participant or their parent and/or guardian who fails to provide the documentation and required information by the date of the Experience.


3.6 To attend a matchday bluebird experience within the stadium you must show proof of COVID status to enter, please see below the requirements. 

 

For Cardiff City FC home fixtures, the Welsh Government will require all spectators over the age of 18 years to present their COVID status in order to enter Cardiff City Stadium. This is a legal requirement that we are duty bound to abide by. Proof of COVID status may be presented to stadium support staff in the following ways:


  • By displaying a digital (mobile phone) solution such as the NHS COVID pass or an EU equivalent (click here for information on how to obtain the NHS COVID pass): please note that this will need to be updated every 30 days.
  • A digital or paper certificate of double vaccination.
  • Proof of a negative lateral flow test (LFT) result by text or email (within 48 hours of kick-off): do not bring the physical test unit with you (click here to obtain tests).
  • Confirmation of immunity. This can be proven by medical certificate if the person endeavouring to gain access has recovered from COVID no sooner than 14 days and no longer than 6 months prior to the date of the fixture.
  • Supporters who are already fully vaccinated are encouraged to plan in advance of fixtures and sign up for a digital NHS COVID pass in advance (click here).


3.7 You acknowledge that if you experience any new or existing medical conditions, or COVID-19 symptoms, you will notify Cardiff City FC Foundation immediately via email to Bluebirdexperiences@cardiffcityfc.org.uk



4. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING


4.1 Once your booking is complete, you will receive an email confirming your space on the experience, this page is printable. Please ensure you provide a valid email address when booking.


4.2 If you do not receive confirmation it is unlikely that your booking has been successful so please contact us to avoid disappointment.



5. STAFF


5.1 We confirm that all our coaching staff have been subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks (previously CRB checks), hold suitable coaching qualifications and that a member of staff present will hold a first aid qualification. 



6. PHOTOGRAPHS


6.1 Please note that from time to time we may take pictures of the children who take part in an experience and these photographs may be used for promotional purposes by the Foundation and/or Cardiff City FC. If you do not wish your child to be photographed please do not consent to this on the booking page.



7. COMPLAINTS


7.1 We are committed to ensuring your child has a great experience but if you or your child are not entirely happy with the experience, please contact the Staff lead of the Experience in the first instance. If your complaint has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us at Complaints@cardiffcityfc.org.uk with full details of the complaint and we will attempt to resolve it as quickly as possible.



8. DISCIPLINE


8.1 Children attending our Experiences will be treated with respect and must treat others with respect. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and refuse to allow your child to continue attending an Experience if our staff deem their behaviour to be unacceptable.


9. DATA PROTECTION


9.1 The Website is operated by Cardiff City FC Foundation. When you make a booking with Cardiff City FC Foundation we will collect and process the personal information you provide in order to provide the services you have requested and for other specific purposes subject to your consent. To learn more about what information is collected, the measures Cardiff City FC Foundation puts in place to protect this information and how it is used we advise you to read the Privacy Notice on our website.



10. GENERAL


10.1 We can transfer any of our rights or obligations arising under this Agreement to another person at any time, but this will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your rights or obligations arising under this Agreement without our prior written consent. 


10.2 If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of this Agreement are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.


10.3 These Terms set out the whole of the Agreement between you and us in relation to the subject matter of this Agreement and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us about such subject matter whether oral or in writing.


10.4 This Agreement shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
